Kaveh Taghi-Zadeh | Vice President Middle East

In02 was born in Iran, but left the country at the age of ten to go to live in Turkey. Three years later my family moved to Germany, where I stayed for many years. I studied electrical engineering and spent five months in Singapore during my studies where I lived with a Chinese family to learn more about the local culture.  I have two sons who are four and six years old.

My career began when I joined General Electric’s leadership program in Europe.  From there I went to GE Capital and then GE Healthcare, whereI worked for the board oninternational projects in supply chain, sales, and performance management.  Here I learned a lot about leadership and global, complex corporations. Afterwards I left to joinIBM business consulting in Switzerland.  I was there for two years as a consultant to financial services and automotive clients in Europe.  My next career step was to Booz&Company. I stayed with them for three years workingin Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, Italy, Romania, Japan, India, and the Middle East for several different industries. This is where I developed a passion for the Middle East, which has endured to this day.My final move was to BrainNet, where I’ve been since April 2010, focusing on building our presence in the Middle East.

I joined BrainNet after a very personal meeting and discussion with the BrainNet partners, which impressed me personally very much. I felt that the company was the place I wanted to be, not only because of its tremendous history, growth and opportunities, but also because I personally felt most comfortable there and recognized a real vision for the futureat the core of this company.I am convinced I can reach all of my goals at BrainNet, with good reason: it’s a great brand, has a very unique client base and a thrilling team to work with.
Working at BrainNet is exciting, fast-paced, and all about perfection when it comes to delivering solutions to our clients. As much as we appreciate the high performance levels, we also appreciate the trust we enjoy among ourselves and of course with our clients. At BrainNet, one has considerable responsibility for building our business with a great deal of freedom. In my own case it is about further building our international business, in the Middle East.

Besides that, my personal passion is in developing and building our talents, starting with coaching, passing on experience, and providing opportunities to get exposure to our clients’ top management.I also take care in maintaining our high standards in all our projects in an advisory role for our client project portfolio.

At BrainNet we are performance driven, we sincerely care about our people, incl. work life balance – something very unusual in the consulting industry. Our performance is truly appreciated;an honest “thank you” is something you hear at BrainNet often. This is the most entrepreneurial place I have ever seen – if you have an idea, you are asked to go ahead and make it happen!
