Annette Limmer | Consultant

limmersI’ve always been a person who loves adventure.  When I was 15 I spent a year in Minnesota at an American high school and even during my studies in international business, I did not spend my entire time in Germany.  Fitting to my major in East Asia Management, I spent a semester abroad and some time in a practicum in Japan.  My master studies afterwards took me from Cologne to Scotland.  Although I didn’t learn to play the bagpipes, I was able to profit a lot from the permanent contact with a variety of nationalities at St. Andrews university in Scotland, and the Ritsumeikan university in Japan, gaining many valuable friendships.

It was quickly apparent to me that I wanted to have a career that was varied and would allow me to look beyond my own navel.  I came to know BrainNet from the recommendation of a good friend.  The open atmosphere and somewhat different manner of the BrainNetconsultants, filled me with enthusiasm right from the start.  The prospect of being continually challenged in different projects and the chance to also get to know new companies in every project seemed to me the perfect chance at the beginning of my career to gain a lot of experience and much more varied insights than at a different company.

Working for BrainNet never gets boring.  Every new project offers the chance to learn about new customers, often in a new industry sector.  I’ve had the opportunity to try out different roles and to put what I’ve learned to use.  This is the way to learn what your own strengths and weaknesses are quickly and be able to develop and improve through targeted training.
My first impression ofBrainNet has not changed at all.  It’s the colleagues that make BrainNet something special.  It was important to me to feel comfortable in my working environment right from the start.  The openness of my colleagues and my interest in my work which goes beyond every day project life, makes that easy.  The regular BrainNet meetings give us a chance to gain insight into the projects of others and to exchange ideas with colleagues from other branch offices.  I don’t just have super colleagues at BrainNet, I have also made new friends.

Is BrainNet right for me?
